By purchasing a Farm Tour, either online or by phone, you agree to all the following terms:

Fares & Prices

Booking & Payment

• All farm tours MUST be purchased in advance, either online or by phone.
• All children booked on a tour who are under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
• Your farm tour booking will be confirmed by email once full payment is received.
• Your booking is valid only for the date and time, and the number of people specified. Please check that your confirmed booking is correct. If there are any errors or omissions, you must telephone and notify us so that these can be corrected.
• All prices shown are in UK Pounds Sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of VAT.

Cancellations & Refunds

• You MUST notify us by telephone on 01598 752 310 if you need to cancel or amend your booking or you are going to be late.
• In the event of you failing to arrive (no-show), or a reduction in the number of people booked and paid for, the full cost of the booking is charged and is non-refundable.
• In the very unlikely event that we cannot proceed with a Farm Tour, we reserve the right to cancel any scheduled tour or event at any time. In such circumstances you will be asked if you would like to transfer to an alternative date at no additional cost, however you can also request a full refund if you prefer.

Farm Tours

Arrival

• Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled tour time.
• Late arrival will limit the duration of your tour, and prices will NOT be adjusted or refunded accordingly.

Parking

• The farm has dedicated parking for visitors’ cars.
• On arrival, please park as directed to ensure your vehicle is not blocking access to the farm or farm buildings.
• All vehicles are parked entirely at the owners risk. We will not be liable for any personal loss or damage to property during the tour.

Farm & Tour Safety

• Visitors MUST follow all safety instructions and guidelines provided.
• Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
• Our Access Statement contains information for farm visitors and describes the farm and facilities that are offered to all who visit West Ilkerton Farm.
• Please ensure you and any children are dressed appropriately and are wearing suitable, sturdy footwear.
• You MUST NOT feed any of the animals during the tour unless authorised to do so by tour staff as part of the tour experience.
• The farm reserves the right to remove any individuals who pose a risk to themselves, others or the farm property.

Weather

• Tours will proceed in most weather conditions. However, in the event of extreme weather or other unforeseen circumstances, the farm reserves the right to cancel the tour. In such cases, tickets will be rescheduled or refunded.
• You must come to the farm dressed in clothing and footwear appropriate for the weather conditions. West Ilkerton is a hill farm and is exposed to the elements, so please bring warm, waterproof clothes as necessary.

Dogs

• Up to two dogs are allowed on tours for a small charge as long as they are on leads and lie quietly on the floor of the wagon.
• Please do not allow your dogs to get up on the seats as they can damage the seat covers.
• The door of the trailer wagon makes a noise when it closes, which can be frightening for gun-shy dogs.
• You are welcome to take your dog(s) for a walk on the farm before or after your tour, as long as they are on a lead and under your control at all times.
• We can provide a place in the shade for you to park your car if you’d like to leave your dog in the car.

Smoking

• Smoking and vaping is not permitted anywhere on the farm.

Liability

• All visitors to West Ilkerton Farm participate in tours at their own risk. We will not be liable for any loss or injury suffered by you resulting from any activity which is beyond the direct control of the farm.
• You are advised not to bring any items of special value along to our farm tours. We will not accept responsibility for the loss or damage to any personal possessions.
